Coffee exhibitions are where the coffee community comes together. We discover new coffees, meet new people, exchange ideas and, of course, taste plenty of coffee along the way.
But behind every tasting is something we rarely think about: the small sampling cup.
Used for only a few sips, many single-use cups are immediately discarded. Multiply that across thousands of visitors and countless coffee tastings, and something so small can quickly create a much bigger amount of waste.
At MINOS, we asked a simple question:
Can a little cup make a difference?
We believe it can.
Introducing the MINOS X MCE Mini Espresso Cup
For MIFB 2026, MINOS has collaborated with MCE to introduce a special reusable Mini Espresso Cup, created for coffee lovers, baristas and industry professionals visiting the exhibition.
Designed with a neck strap, the cup can be conveniently carried with you as you explore the show.
Taste a coffee. Rinse the cup. Move to the next booth. Use it again.
The idea is simple:
One little cup. Many great coffees. Less single-use waste.
Wear It. Sip It. Reuse It.
Sustainability does not always have to begin with a complicated solution. Sometimes, it can start with a simple change in the way we do everyday things. The MINOS X MCE Mini Espresso Cup is designed to encourage visitors to make reuse part of their coffee exhibition experience.
Instead of taking a new disposable sampling cup for every tasting, visitors can carry one reusable cup throughout their journey at the show.
Sip. Rinse. Reuse. Repeat.
It is a small action, but when more people participate, a little cup can create a much bigger impact.
More Than Coffee Equipment
At MINOS, we believe our role in the coffee industry goes beyond creating coffee equipment and brewing tools. Through this initiative, MINOS hopes to encourage more conversations about sustainability and inspire simple, achievable changes within the industry.
